While I was a vet nurse, that was the only company that did food for a diabetic dog. It is a shame it has been recalled but they do have a wet type aswell. The equivelant in other brand is the Hills W/D but the main aim of this food is for weight loss. It is not really made for diabetics. So if you can try to stick to the royal cannin. They're all a little different, and each case of diabetes can be a little different, as well, so the veterinarian who diagnosed the diabetes would best be able to suggest what type of food to feed. I know they make a canned variety and imagine there is a dry type also.
