A good healthy hypoallergenic dog food?

We have a Tibetan Terrier with allergies. Can anyone suggest a good, chemical, by- product free, dog food? Thanks
Look into Nutro dogfood, I used to work part time for them and learned more about dog nutrition than I ever knew! The dogfood is only sold in pet stores but not all pet stores carry it so you’ll need to call ahead. Nutro is an awesome food for dogs because it’s made with no chicken by-products (like beaks, heads, feet and guts). It’s perfect for dogs with allergies because it’s ingrediants are chicken meat, wheat flour, ground whole wheat, rice bran, poultry fat for vitamin E, corn gluten meal (no hulls), etc. Do you know what your terrier is allergic to? If your dog is allergic to wheat they have a no wheat formula too. Another thing I like about the company is that they are a small family owned business from California and they have stayed privately owned. They formulate everything in their kitchens and still have the same dog chef from their beginning days. I’ve had my dog on Nutro since I got him and he’s got a beautiful coat, less hair shedding, small less odorous stools and I get comments about his bulk all the time. Check it out!

I have been feeding both my silky terrier-1year old(just turn 1year today) and my 10 year old yorkshire terrier with Timber Wolf and they have been very well on this natural ingredient food with no preservatives whatsoever. This food helps to detoxicate and initially when you feed your dog with this food, his stools tend to be soft but not to worry as this is only the initial effect on him.Try to choose lamb and apple flavour as lamb,s advised from my vet is good for dogs with skin allergy.Try to avoid chicken as it may trigger the allergy further. This food also helps to improve the texture of his fur.If you are feeding on other brand and if you wish to try this premium brand, try to mix the current food with the new brand and slowly switch to the new brand.Would be good if you can feedback to me through email if this works for your dog, which I hope it will.Try not to use medicated shampoo as we do not know what he is allergic to.Use shampoo like lavender which will help him to relax a little.(saucer73@yahoo.com.sg).Hope everything goes well…..

I feed my dog Burns dogfood. It's hypoallergenic and not too expensive. They also do a good range of hypoallergenic dog treats.

Eukanuba Responce FP is the best for a dog with allergies. You may have to search around for it but alot of vet clinics carry it. I think you can also get it at PetSmart or PetCo too.<

I've heard of people having good results with Flint River Ranch… You might have to try an elimination diet to find out exactly what your dog is allergic to. Good luck!
